I ended up going to our local urgent care this morning due to vomiting. He can't do much for me, but he did say it sounds like I have gastritis. He prescribed Nexium. I am willing to do anything at this point. I'm new to the lupus. Is gastritis a common problem with it? If I can get the nausea under control, then I can keep the ibuprofen down long enough to help with the pain. The doctor also suggested calling the specialist I am set up to see in late July and asking if there is any way I can get in earlier. Wish me luck!

I have never had gastrits problems with Lupus but with this disease it can take on many different forms and mimic alot of different diseases. I agree that you should try to get in earlier if you can but once you get established with a good rhumetologist then it will be easier to get in to see him/her when you need to. Try taking the Ibuprofen with food it helps alot and also I have found that ginger is good for inflamation. Cut thin slices and add boiling water for a ginger tea. Hope it gets better soon for you.......Isla
