Today was my son's last soccer game and awards ceremony.  Though I rarely make it to games and practices, I do make a monumental effort to make it to things like this.  The game was at 3, and I spent the morning and early afternoon scrambling to get my work finished so I could go.  By 3 I was completely exhausted and nauseated.  I guess it was obvious, because my son told me I didn't have to go if I didn't want to.  It made me sad.  He shouldn't have to worry about things like that.  I told him a herd of elephants couldn't stop me, although they might slow me down a bit.  ha ha   I did make it to the game and through the ceremony, all the while fearing I was going to be ill in front of all of these people.  But I made it through and am very glad I did.  Now I can relax for the evening and feel like I really accomplished something.

I am glad that you made it to your sons ceremony...Sorry to hear you are feeling so ill...I was reading your \'page\' and you said you are getting great results with the tegretol...it didn\'t do anything for me...i am sick of the neuralgia...but am trying the lyrica this week...
Maybe the chat thing didn\'t work for some other reason because i didn\'t get an invite or anything...but i do have this site running in the background sometimes when i am surfing round the net...so who knows..but it would be great to talk one day..tho with our ti8me differences it might be difficult.. :) *hugs*

Wow, you\'re an amazing person & wonderful mom. I know how difficult it was for you, physically, to go to your son\'s game/ceremony, but you did it for him, & I admire you for that. Your son is lucky to have you. I am sorry you\'re so ill & going through such difficulty finding medications, etc. I hope they will soon find something that works well for you, so your suffering will lessen. Also, you\'re very fortunate to have an ex-husband who helps you the way yours does. Mine helps me too. We have been blessed.
