Food

I am running out of things on a medical basis to write about, so I will write about food.
There are a few stories about this, but this is my favorite.  In 1962, in a bar called The Ox in Bufallo, New York, one of the owners was just shutting down for the night.  Her son had just got out of a softball game and came in with the team.  She had to feed a bunch of hungry teen agers and the place was a chicken restaurant.  She had some heat left in the fryers, so she turned them back on.  The chicken wings did not sell so well so she tossed them in the fryer and cooked them.  She coated them with a cayane pepper sauce, maybe Frank's Red Hot, and served them with carrot and celery sticks with blue cheese dressing(that might be all she had).  Bufallo chicken wings were invented.
