About two years ago, I flew into JFK Airport to go to New York City.  JFK is 40 miles from New York City in New Jersey.  In the drive to Manhattan, I do not think that I saw a single building under six stories.  Montana is not like that, it blew me away.  I went to The Sears Tower before that, I bet there is more concrete in the city of Chicago than there is in the entire state of Montana.  Chicago is huge and New York City is huge.  I come from the most populated city in Montana and were just over 100,000 reople.  I can not believe all of the people in the world, it blows me away.  That is why there is things like the Pacific Gyre.  In the Pacfic Ocean, there is this giant swirling mass of plastic waste that is just floating in the water.  The Berkley Pit in Butte, MT was the largest man made hole on the planet, I think it is third now, it used to be a copper mine.  It is now filling up with water, poisonous water.  It was a few years ago, that some scientist from the college of mining in Butte found a life form, a single celled organism, that has adapted to the Arsenic poisoned water.  It is an Environmental Protection Agency superfund site.  That just goes to show you, life will find a way.  Arsenic is used to leach gold out of ore, and cyanide is used to leach copper out of ore.  In Butte, the mines dried up a long time ago.  In 1915, Butte was the size of Chicago at the same time.  I have never been to Butte on St. Patricks Day, I did not want to get a black eye and get put in jail.  Butte has celebrities like Evil Kenivel.  It is a rough town.  It is right on the continental divide.  Just some knowledge about Butte, I am sure it is not important to anyone.
