I study the origins of different foods.  A good one is, in 1947, on the Texas border there was an Air Foce Base.  There were three wives who wanted to do some shopping that day in Mexico.  They did their shopping and were getting hungry that afternoon.  They stoped in to a restaurant and the cook informed them that he had nothing prepared and would not have much until dinner.  He had some tortillas and fried them up in to chips.  He also made a cheddar cheese sauce to dip them in.  His name was Nacio or Nacho.  Later they were sold at the Houston Astros stadium and they caught on to be served at sporting events ever since then.  That is the story of the invertion of Nachos.
