THIRTEEN POUNDS!!!I carry a large lunch bag/cooler everywhere I go. I live in the desert and it is ho here, I need water and I cannot eat out anymore so I have my whole day worth of food in it. In the front pocket that I never use I ran across a little notebook. In the notebook are page after page of notes written by me while Jeff was in the hospital after transplant. They are the usual notes. Questions for the doctor, shopping list, apartment # and phone # for the place the hospital put us up in for free to avoid having me sleeping in the waiting room on the floor. As I turned the pages I felt like I was right back there in that waiting room on the 4th floor of UMC in Tucson, AZ with the beautiful fish and all of the other family members whose patients were near death. I was really getting sad. I know you know what I mean. Remember when Jeff's phone stopped working and I had to buy a new one? Part of the reason I was so upset is that it had all of Jeff's freind's numbers in it and I could not retrieve them. So with tears rolling down my face I turned page after page and finally came to the ones that really made me sob. The list of Jeff's friends with the phone numbers that I wrote myself to let them know that he had passed. I'll get back with you later. I can't keep doing this at work.
