I miss Jeffrey. I had the horrid question that I hate to answer today. "how many kids do you have, Colleen?" Sometimes is it alright if I just say two and be done with it? Maybe if I get to know the person better later I can tell them the real story? Is that disrespectful to Jeff?  We were in the gym and I was on the elyptical thing that really kicks my ass hard and it was at the end or my 1 1/2 hour workout so I'm already light headed which makes me emotional anyway. I don't know, what do you think?

I agree...say whatever is comfortable for you. When I\'ve been asked if I have any children it\'s too hard for me to say no, so I will say yes, I have one son and ask them the same question. People like talking about themselves and their family. If I\'m the one asking the questions I can usually avoid bringing up my situation. Situations are different, people are different. Do what feels right, sweetie.

I agree say whatever is easiest for you. Adrianne said it, turn it back to them, people really want to talk about themselves not you and you can usually avoid further comment by it. If you get to know the person well it will become part of the knowing in time. I say don\'t sweat it, Jeffrey will understand. Love and hugs Cathy

Fortunately I\'ve only been asked a few times. I\'ve answered diffently each time. It really does depend on the situation but I love mari3333 aboves answer. Tell how many and say one is an angel. You go girl! I hate the eliptical but probably because I can only do it for about 45 seconds (lol). Keep up the hard work. Love Robin

IT ALWAYS TAKES ME BY SURPRISE, AND I DON\'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY.SO I USUALLY SAY FIVE AND LEAVE IT AT THAT. IF THEY ASK FURTHER, I ANSWER THEM TRUTHFULLY.

In the beginning I\'d twinge at that question, then slowly say 2. Then, as often happens, the next question is formed to give more details. Again, it was a deep breath and then I\'d say my son is in Kennesaw, my daughter is in Heaven. Today, when asked that question I don\'t seem to need that deep breath, and I don\'t even hesitate to say 3, on in Kennesaw and 2 in Heaven. Why didn\'t I acknowledge my baby son in the beginning??....I didn\'t know to. This is MY answer. It works for me. It\'s comfortable for me. Your answer must work for you. I don\'t think Jeff will be upset or offended if you do not include him in number. He knows the heart of his mom and does not want that heart hurt further. And I am SOOOO proud of you for sticking with your workout program and working so hard!! Keep it up!! Love ya bunches, Teri.
