I had another bad weekend. Well, notreally bad but sad. I spent Saturday with Jeff's godmother. We've been best friends since we were 12. I am her daughters' godmother as well. Therefore you can probably understand why I was so pissed off when she told me that the 17 year old has a congenital heart condition that shen ever told me about. She said that I had too much to worry about with Jeff and his heart. I appreciate something here, I just don't know what it is yet. Mostly I'm just pissed. The crazy @#%& Hasn't even taken her to the cardiologist in years and now she's having chest pain. She has a referral to see one of Jeff's doctors but just hasn't done it yet. I want to choke her. My mom came to stay for a couple days. That should make me really happy and it does but I tend to tell her the truth about how I feel and what I think and I have to get OVER it after all of that, so by the time I recover it's time for her to go.

Geez what is she thinking...appreciate the fact that she was protecting you...hopefully she is not minimizing or embleshing her daughters condition!
Mom visits are so much fun...after she leaves, write me and we will work on patching you back together...lol I know that they mean well, but even after just a phone call sometimes, I am irritible and very pessemistic. I will be glad when the election is over and she can stop the whine about that!
Love you...take care of you...

Unbelievable...surely she will make taking him to the doctor a priority! I hope you enjoy your mom\'s visit. I miss my mom, she died four years ago this January. Savor every moment (even when she annoys you...lol)Love to you...Karen
Wow, that hits so close to home. I can certainly understand your frustration. I hope all goes well when she finally gets to the doctor. I agree with Karen above, do your best to enjoy time with your mother. We never know how many tomorrows we have so make the most of each day while she is here and before she leaves. Hoping the week gets better for you. Much love friend. Robin
Sometimes people just believe if it\'s not acknowledged it won\'t happen. Denial is a great place to live. I tried it for awhile but had to move on. hopefully now that you know you can do some prodding. Hope it all turns out well. Love and hugs Cathy
