I woke this morning from dreams. My old demons were after me. I used to drink too much and do some other things I should not have ever done. I sometimes have dreams about these things that scare me to death. October 29th is not only my 10 year wedding anniversary but it is my 5 year clean and sober day as well. It is also my husband's birthday. I am taking the day off work and spending it with the old man. By the way. I do still have a margarita if I go out for a meal and sometimes a little Kahlua on my ice cream. So maybe 6-8 drinks per year. Does that count?

They are in the past...congratulations on ALL those things...that is an awesome accomplishment! (I wouldn\'t count the 6-8)Love to you...Karen
Don\'t let the demons stay. Karen is right, that was your past. I think we can all look back and say I wish I wouldn\'t have done this or that. The upside to making a mistake is what we can learn from it and a quote I keep on my fridge reads \"challenges make life interesting, overcoming them makes life meaningful.\" Happy anniversary and ENJOY and CELEBRATE your sobriety and your \"old man\". Chase those demons away! Six or eight drinks a year don\'t count. Enjoy the time with your guy. Love, Lucille
We all have some demons or skeletons somewhere, don\'t we?
The important thing is that you acknowledge them and deal with them...
Fantastic about the anniversaries...
Take care,
Ann
Chase all the bad demons away and you will be fine you have all of us.
May all the demons of all our pasts, stay in the past. You\'ve accomplished so much! You have so much to be proud of yourself for. I\'m certainly proud, and I know Jeff is too. Take care and enjoy the birthday with your guy. Lot\'s of love, Teri
