I was up until 4:30 this morning with kidney pain. I have stones that are cooking. I finally went to sleep but kept waking myself up whimpering. Today was a serious packing day. We are supposed to close on the house this week. I was hurting so bad I had a hard time walking. Finally I ran across pain pills. Thank God for Vicodin. My kitchen got packed. I try not to take them but I'm not a hero today. Everyone keeps telling me that there are ways to dissolve kidney stones but my Urologist is evidently unaware of them. I guess he gets more money to dig them out with his wee basket than he would to dissolve them. Bastard.

Oh...kidney stones...soooo painful. I have had one and my daughter had one when she was only 19 years old...bless you. I hope that you can pass it soon. Take care and good luck packing....Karen

Bet if he ever had one, he might be more interested in disolving them...
I don\'t know what the deal is...somewhere I read that they were drying to use untrasound to crush them so they would pass easier.
I have not had one, but have seen my mother & husband with them...very painful! I am sorry! Pass quickly!

I\'ve had kidney stones and they can disolve them with ultra sound. It works, slightly painful but nothing like trying to pass them. Tell that Dr to get with the 21 Century. Love and hugs cathy
