I went to the ER yesterday with chest pain again. My heart is fine, my lungs are fine and they can't figure out what the problem is. They kept me overnight for observation. They observed me feeling just fine. They kinda treated me like I was a drug seeker. I wonder what they thought when I refused the drugs. This is not the first time. I've been hospitalized three times now with the same problem. This is not all in my head.

I am sure they considered anxiety, right? Rest today and hopefully you will feel better..love and hugs...Karen
Have you tried an antianxiety drug. I still take one now and again when it gets to the point where I feel like I can\'t breathe. Love and hugs cathy
Sorry you are not feeling well. When I feel stressed I can\'t breath & I get a pain in the middle of my chest. I have to take a xanax. I\'m sick of the meds. but I can\'t seem to calm down.
Try to get some rest this weekend. Love & Hugs lucille
I\'m so sorry they can\'t pin point the problem. I agree with the others, perhaps you are having a anxiety attack. I\'ve only had one but it scared the crud out of me and I don\'t ever want another. Hope you\'re feeling better soon. Love Robin
About 3 months after I lost my daughter, I went back to work and woke up one morning and my arm felt numb - I thought I may have slept wrong of course. That day I went for lunch with my husband and almost fainted, I told him to call 911 but then I was fine... after that it happend again and we went to the ER. I was diagnosed woth PTSD, panic & anxiety - they gave me meds and then I went off them due to sexual side effects... well I had to go back on them again because I was getting the constant chest pain and anxiety and pain and numbness in my left arm. They checked me over and did the ECG and listened to my heart and they said I was fine... even all my other trips back to the doc, they said I am fine and that it is just the PTSD etc.. sometimes it is almost like I just want a diagnonis of something - something that can be cured because I hate living like this, but the reality is that it is my new life and I just have to work at making it work for me.
