Hi y'all, More bad news at Casa de Colleen. My mom had a stroke. She seems to be doing very well. We're still waiting for some of the test results but It seems so far like no real permanent damage. God was with her that day. I spent 5 days with her in Prescott and it seems that the people in this little town have not heard of the internet. I thought I'd go nuts trying to find a computer! My sister is in the hospital with real bad pneumonia. She's the one who just lost her husband. How much is one family supposed to be able to handle? So now my stroked out mom is at the hospital with my sister instead of taking care if herself. She carries her wrist blood pressure checker with her. She called meearlier and told methat her blood pressure was 200/75. Is that even possible? I told her to call her doc.Through all of this I am staying calm. Thank you ativan and valium.I went to St. Joseph Hospital's 2nd annual congenital heart day at the park. It seemed so important to Jeff's doctor that I show up. It was awful. The first thing that happened was check in. "Where is your heart patient child"?......DEAD. Need I go on? I didn't feel like I could really talk to any of the parents because what am I going to say? "Just think, someday you could be the crazy lady at the park with no child.".
