pg_984949818.jpg   Yesterday I had an appointment in an office in my son's surgeon's building. I ran into the wonderful Doc in the elevator. He said that he had been trying to find me to tell me some good news. Because of Jeff having to go all the way to Tucson, 100 miles to have a transplant and him passing down there with all of those new doctors who didn't even know him or his particular health quirks (of which he had many) they are now going to do heart transplants at St. Joe's on Phoenix!!! Maybe Jeff will get something named after him.

The doctor told me that it was wrong to send Jeff off to other doctors. He even cried. This team of doctors keep their kids close. The have event, outings, parties and support groups for the families. He said that he expects me tobe at them. That I am still part of the family. By the time he left me I was hysterical.    Gotta go for now.

Colleen - there is always something wonderful to be gained in every life and it sounds as though there is one more good legacy that Jeff gave to the world. Be proud! Marie
