Well, the men in my family have spoken. I may not have the baby. I feel like I've lost another part of me. They don't understand what they have done. If we all worked together we could do this. My husband is 60 and not really in the best of health. I guess he has valid reasons for saying no. I could give a shit less what his feelings or reasons are, it's not about him. I swear as long as I live I'll hate him for this. Oh, I'll smile, go on with my life, even act as if I'm not angry. In my heart I'll always know that he came in between my grandchild and me just when we need each other so badly. How can you ever forgive that?                                                 Colleen.

Have you heard of the \"rocking chair test\"?
The idea is to imagine yourself sitting in your rocking chair at age 100 looking back at this situation. Using the perspective of a lifetime, what would you in your wisdom decide?
You have my prayers that you make the right decision for you.

I am sorry that this situation isn\'t going the way you would like. I hope that you are someday able to forgive your husband. Maybe god has a different plan for this babies life all we can do now is pray that things somehow work out o.k. for your grandchild. I will be thinking about both of you. Hugs Donna

There is no decision that\'s final except the one we are dealing with. I think you need to tell your husband how you feel. Talk some more about the situation, tell him how much it means to you. Love and hugs Cathy
