I cannot watch the news anymore, It is far to depressing. I used to be a news fanatic. First thing every day that I did was turn on the AM show. While at work it was talk radio. Sean Hannity was my hero. My freinds rode me teasingly because I knew what was happening all over the country. They called me overdone. I called it up on current events, after all, isn't that what they taught us in sociology? To be a well rounded individual, you must be up on current events?   In October,2006, my son Jeffrey was put on the heart transplant list. I, being the beleiver in support groups that I am, swooshed him off to the local heart transplant group. At this group, I was told by everyone there that they do not watch the news. They have no time for it. They are busy living. They said that positive attitude was half the battle when fighting illness and that you just cannot be positive while watching the news. I'm sorry Mr. Hannity, You'll have to do your three hours without me. That's all I ask.
