Dear Friends,   I just got home from work and was handed my son's final autopsy report. I read it, did fine emotionally, but read five pages of medical jargon that did nothing but boggle my brain. Jeff's surgeon at University Med. Center in Tucson  offered to sit down with my family and me when he found out the exact cause of death. I had planned to skip that meeting because, well, what  would it change? Nothing. However, after reading this packet of Greek mumbo jumbo, I must go just to find out what it all means.   You know, it just makes no sense to me at all that I can be so calm and collected right now, when a poem on someone elses page can turn me into a puddle of salty water. Keep them coming, though, I love them.   So to sum it all up, My son will be gone two months on June21, and I still don't know why he died. And so where's my emotion? I'm so numb right now.   I've been taking classes at work this week that are helping me very much. Team Building, Accountability Training, fun things like that. I'm amazed to see how something that seems so displaced from what I'm going through is helping me so much in the areas of grief.

Colleen - I understand what you are saying because being at work and away from the reminders of what has happened helps me too. Just gives my brain something else to do for a change. I am glad you are doing okay today. Marie

I am glad that work is helping you keep your mind busy. I think finding out why he died will be very theraputic. My friend mike died and his family never let me know what from so there has been no closer for me so i am very happy that you will be able to find out what happened with your son. :) big hugs
