Hi, my name is Colleen. On Dec.24,1981, God gave me a beautiful son. Jeff had a congential heart defect called Tetrology of Fallot. In all, He had ten heart surgeries, including a transplant on March 29,2007. He lived 3 1/2 weeks after surgery, but passed away on April 21,2007. I miss Jeff so deeply at times that I think if I breathe I might throw up. I need some grieving skills. I drive for a living with passengers in the vehicle. I can't really be bawling driving down the street.I've requested that my company take me off the road, I think they eventually will. I would like to hear from other parents who have lost children. I like to think that I'm a pretty nice person, but lately I'm just plain ugly to some people. I don't know what comes over me. I work with seriously mentally ill people. You just can't be mean to these guys. I burst into tears at the most inopportune times. Please help.

Iv\'e been dealing with a lot of guilt since the passing of my son. After the heart transplant, he was in bed for 3/12 weeks. The meds caused him to be diabetic, His vocal chords were paralized, his kidneys failed, dialasis was on 24/7 and he wanted to die. He said to me \"Mamma, they\'d shoot a horse, they\'d put down a dog, Why do I have to do this? So when he got his wish I felt relief. That\'s where the guilt comes in. How many of you felt the same thing?
