I took the girls to dinner tonight and it went fine. I haven't really taken them out much in the last few weeks. My son went to the movies with his uncle and I am so glad to have such a supportive family because they are all helping in some way.Mom came and watched the kids so I could go to the food store by myself. The fridge was empty and even the kids were complaining and I needed to do it.Before he passed and wasn't living with us I could walk by all his favorite things and yet today knowing that it was never a possibility it was hard to pass the things I would have bought if he were here. It is all so confusing because I wasn't sure we could live together if he couldn't get clean. I know he was trying to do the right things but I hadn't seen the evidence of that yet and the things I found after he passed didn't make me comfortable that it would have worked.Just very confused but still having to do the things to keep life normal and stable for the kids. Just have to figure out how I do that for me.

Just want to say how sorry I am about your loss and pain. Try to focus on your kids and keep your family close, in time your life will come together again. Spend not one minute on guilt or regret, your husband created this situation. Be it a drug addict or an alcoholic, it\'s all about them, otherwise they would think more about what they are doing to those that love them. Just have to get thru life one day at a time. God bless.
Hi, Colleen again, I just want you to know that one of the things that helped me through the first couple three weeks was just doing the everyday tasks of living. I had to force myself to shower at first even. Every time a family member wanted to do something for me I did it myself. That way I knew where everything was later, after they had all gone home.
I am so very sorry for your lost, my prayers are with u, if u just want to talk i will be there for u! luv taylor
