Hi ya all, can any of you out there help me, Im due to have IUI next month but im having doubts weather we should have this due to my Husbands low sperm count and now me producing poor quality eggs, my gyno has put me on Clomid for 2 months but not really sure if that is going to help, can any of you out there who have had IUI please tell me what treatment is involoved when having IUI, do you have injections or take any meds before have the sperm injected into you, as I think my Gyno may be ripping me off as he says all i need is the Clomid tablets during day 2 to 6 of my cycle and then have maybe 2 scans to see when i am ovulating and then inject me with the sperm, We dont want to waste our money and go through somethink if it isnt being done right, PLease, please someone help us as i can really sleep lately and its getting to me now. xxxxx

That is true when you do Clomid you only need to go in a couple times! But how old are you? I found clomid to be a waste of time and thinned the uterine lining to make implantation impossible. I would go STRAIGHT to injections (they are actually better for you anyway, especially if sperm count is low!) Did he say anything to you about injections?
