Hi all,I know its been a while again since my last journal, and Im terrible at doing my journals, but i must say that i do read all of your that you send to me and its really nice to read then and that some of you are doing really well.Ive not been well latley as we saw a gyno under the NHS last month, as we thought that Id better get checked out incase something was wrong with me, and the NHS gyno said we should get me checked out before our next private IVF treatment which we planned to have this month, but delayed it as we thought it was best, anyway the gyno asked if I had medical insurance as I could go in straight away private for an Laparoscopy and a Hyteroscopy and an D & C, anyway I get free medical insurance at work and had the op last wed 19th Sept, they found that I had endometriosis on my ovaries and he lasered that off while there, we had a follow consultation last night and he said that it wasnt to bad and that we should try and go for IUI asap, which we are on my next cycle, my darling dad offered to pay for it as he knows we spent alot of money in may on our last treatment. So at the moment i am off work resting as my stitches are still giving pain but plan to go back on Thursday. We were told that from our private IVF place earlier this year that IUI wouldnt work for us and that we should save our money and go straight for IVF, which we did and it failed but we thought we would like to try the IUI and the Gyno agreed and said we should give it ago, so we arent to sure how or if it will work but al least it isnt so expensive as IVF, its worth ago though.We were also told that the NHS IVF waiting list is only 9 months!! which I was surprised at as my doctor told me it was 4 years!!!Anyway I will try and write more often, keep sending me your lovely updates.
