ok two days of 20 mg, and it isn't anything as wonderful as the 10.  i thought it would be impossible to tell the difference so soon, but on 20 i've been churning in my tummy and feeling nauseas like crazy, and actually woke up at 4 am this morning with an attack, mild, albeit, an attack.  i am sticking to the 20 for now, and i'll call my doctor in the morning, and see if there is any harm in going back down to 10 or even 15 somehow.  the 10 mg lexapro had me feeling like a million bucks, and unless it's coincidental, which it could be, some other illness creaping up, 20 has been harsh.  any advice anyone?  you have a great night everybody.  off work tommorrow so i should be on here a couple of time throughout the day.  peace to all of you.  john

Wow, it seems to have really affected you in a bad way. It only brought on more of the good numbing qualities for me. This initial bit may be over with soon, so you might want to give it time still. See what your doctor says.

this morning, (next morning) doesn\'t seem so bad, I\'ll ride it out a bit longer on 20.

You don\'t want advice about Lexapro from me John!
No sir, didn\'t like it. I\'ll stick with my Xanax.

If your feeling good with 10mg why would your doctor want you to take 20mg. Sometimes these doctors like to experiment with us. Hope it turns out well for you.

I went from 10 to 20 and asked my doc the same thing if it ain\'t broke why fix it? On 20 I yawned my way through my day and couldn\'t do my job well and made driving dangerous. Dr switched me to Zoloft and that was like sugar pills so he put me back on my 10 of Lexapro and that\'s where I am today.
