10 mg lexapro has been in my opinion for me a life saver. been on it roughly two weeks now...tonight i start the 20 mg and it has me worried. probably because that is just me sort of mediphobic. anyone go from 10 to 20 on here? i am anxious about it a little. 10 hasn't been bad or anything, just a little nausea the first day, and an occassional headache, well worth ridding the anxiousness i was experiencing that actually landed me in the e.r. again. any replies most appreciated. thanks, hope everyone is having a great day.....john

Whatever has been good about the 10mg Lexapro will only become better by increasing the dose. You might experience a little more of the side effects, but they dissolve pretty quickly. I made the jump to 20\'s before and it was what I needed at the time. Just glad it\'s helping you out. Cheers, man.
took the 20 mg lexapro 5 hours ago. got quite panicky about 2 hours after i took it...think i built up a bit of anxiety about it. we\'ll see how i sleep and feel in the morning...peace out.......goodnight everyone.
I always tell people to give meds about 3 months to see their effectiveness. If they help stay on them, if they don\'t try something else. Hope the coming week finds you in good spirits.
