Feeling pretty good after 11 days on Lexapro. Definately sleep much better. My anxiety seems worse when i go to bed, or when i get up. but, I know it's doing something. I am going to continue the 10 mg dose right now. Doctor gave me 20 mg script which i just got filled, pharmacist said i could break them in half and take half in morning and half in evening. i usually take them at 4 pm or about so.....kind of worried to go to 20 mg, guess that means it may not be working totally yet. who knows............ i plan to seek out counseling for the anxiety and panic so that i don't have to stay on this medication forever. i am hoping to make great strides. my thing right now, is i want to regain my exercise regimen, which, although wasn't the most i could do, did help to keep my hdl cholesterol up and my ldl cholesterol down, also the endorfins help short term for the anxiety problem. so , that is where i am at currently.................it's friday and it will be at least a ten hour day at work, so must get going. everyone have a great weekend..........

Remember, they can\'t treat everything at once, and the results are different with everybody. I was told by my doctor that if there have been three or more serious anxious/depression events in our lives that the medication would probably taken for the rest of our lives...I\'m not in any way trying to practice medicine...just passing on something he told me. Your guy knows what\'s best for you.
i am on the edge of starting 20 mg sunday when i am off work so that i can feel whatever difference it makes while i am not at work. that\'s probably where my anxiousness with it lies. i don\'t want to be affected negatively while at work the first time, when i see that it helps better, which hopefully it does, i will be home in a safe place. lol..that is proof, i need more eh????? thanks limbo...
Your a good person if you can handle Lexapro. I ried it for 2 months and couldn\'t handle it. Each person is different though so good luck. Try to make this a temporary med. Its hard to get off aanti-depressants.Hope you have a good weekend. My wife\'s birthday tomorrow. We\'re going to see Jersey Boys, the story of Franki Valli and the Four Seasons on Sunday. Her health continues to worsen and these outings will have to be curtailed to a great extent in the future. Have a great weekend.
Hey man, glad to see you\'re doing better and that the Lexapro is helping out.
