Tired

I've done good. I've gotten out & am making steps toward a future. I'm spending time with family & friends. I'm looking for an apartment and looking a jobs. But I am weary.
I am Sad. Sad I am.
I am so sad and so tired. I am having such a hard time with missing him. I don't believe I would ever go back to him. I just want to stop missing him and to stop thinking about him.
I just wish I could get a good night's sleep.  I just wish I could turn my brain off for the next 8 hours.

I have learned that we are most vulnerable to going back or contacting them when we are tired, feeling vulnerable, scared, etc...

Sad is okay. Allow yourself to grieve and know that it may take a long time.

I am happy for you that you are away from him and know in that you wouldn\'t take him back...that is a huge step forward. Being is sad is okay and everything takes time..I am proud of you.

I know the feeling and I\'ve had that same thought (\"I just want to check OUT for the next 8 hours\"). Sometimes I would end up taking a sleeping pill, but I tried to keep that only for emergencies because I don\'t like how I feel the next day and I also found it too easy to get dependent. Still, there are times where I think a pill saved my life.

I don\'t know what to say about the missing-him part except that I hear you. What I would ask myself at those times was, Just who is it you missing? In my case, things were great 20% of the time but crap the other 80. I was missing the 20, but the 80 was the reality. At those times it helped me to focus on the downside, and also on all his \'faults\'. Anyway, I hope that today is a good day and that you get some rest.
