14 Weeks...Entering the second trimester
So today I guess I enter the second trimester! I'm glad to have the first trimester (a subchorionic bleed and abdominal surgery for my tac cerclage) behind me. I'm hoping for an uneventful second trimester. Last pregnancy, I only made it half-way through. This time I hope to enjoy it. I hope to feel my baby move and kick soon. Hopefully the nausea and my food and drink aversions will go away, so I can stay healthy and hydrated. I still can't get completely excited. Most of this pregnancy, I think I've been numb, just doing what I need to do to make it through the next day. I see my doc again on Friday. Only a few more weeks until we find out the sex!

So glad things are still progressing nicely and I COMPLETELY understand your numbness. We\'ve told a handful of ppl that we are expecting and they get so excited and I feel like such an ass for not being as excited, but it\'s hard. None of these ppl have faced a loss, so they don\'t comprehend what we are going through. I don\'t expect the numbness and apprehension to go away completely, but I will say it seems to lighten up for periods of time, like each time Bub moves. So I hope you get some free-er moments too.
