Green!

Yes, despite SNOW today and other pestilence like work (JK) my heart is filled with gratitude. I'll come back and say more about it after some sleep.
======================= : ) ===============
Tuesday:
WOW! BIG sleep! We slept from 10:30 pm to 8:00 am. For naughty night owls, that is huge. Feeling quite mellow now. The world is all black&white outside due to a light sticky snow that has covered everything. I think it will melt by the end of the day. (hope hope hope)
On my mind: yes, gratitude.
> singing, love it. My choir sang in an 8-choir Hymn Fest on Sunday. Since we are the 'heathen's (LOL) as Unitarian Universalists, we sang "Spirit of Life" -- see below. One of my favorite all time songs, and it represents.
> weekend of cooking. fun.
> Drew is soooo tired but I am enjoying taking care of him. He's a CPA in the middle of a work marathon that goes till May 15. I am trying to create a soft nest for R&R at the end of each day. It's our first year living together... since Andy was diagnosed 4 days after our wedding... all domestic bliss was put on hold. So even though nuthin' is perfect, this feels pretty good. We love our house. : )
> work definitely cramps my style, haha, I'd love to exercise and otherwise fritter away a few days, but at least it's cheery and nearby and pays me some money.
> my sister is one of the sweetest blessings in my life. what a great time we had in Florida. A taste of many more good times to come.
> my parents came to the singing... they are SO cute and so dear. My father's sister Betsy is having brain surgery this morning and I am hope hope hoping that she will be OK. Love is flying out to Cincinnatti! I might have to pop out there too...
OK that's enough for now. WORK !  I"M LATE!!! : O
Here is the song we sang:
Spirit of Life, Come unto Me.Sing in my heart, all the stirrings of compassion.Blow in the wind, rise in the sea,Move in the hand, giving life the shape of justice.Roots hold me close, wings set me free,Spirit of Life, Come to Me, Come to Me.- Carolyn McDade
