Now...
Thank you for all your positivity and tender loving care around my SIL/sister Lyn. I just wanted to let you all know that she is doing pretty well after the big mean brain surgery. the swelling and bruising will go away eventually. We are so grateful that she is back. SO grateful. Her two teenage sons would have been so terribly abandoned without their mom... life is hard enough.
I went down to CT with my parents and yes, I am grateful above almost all other gratitudes I have known that I have such loving strong funny delightful parents, and that they are still in such great shape. Mum has multiple myeloma and Dad has various threats to his health but they have been great parents AND continue to be so, in my life. They are actually making plans for a trip to Ireland next spring, at the ages of 82 and 85... pretty awesome role models.
