One Day at a Time
Well today, I had to put my foot down with my friend. She needed to get her car, and wanted me to drive 38 miles to help her get the battery, and take it to AutoZone. I told her I would do it tomorrow after my appt, and that I would need gas money. She told me that she needs gas money too, and to nevermind, that she will ask another friend. At least she has them to count on!!
Friend #2- Has told me today that she doesnt appreciate taking me to Sams, and La Fitness to work out. She also was embaressed when I asked her for 3.00 to help me with my Sams groceries. She got upset when I asked her not to smoke around me, that it gives me headaches! And that she should had let me walk home. When we went to Six Flags together, she told me that she wanted to sit down, and to go out with the children and go on the rides. I told her to call me when she is ready to come back to join the group. Three hours later, she did not call at all. I had to call her, and check on her.
All of this happened in a months time, and she tells me all of the problems in one email, instead of telling me at that moment when that situation happens. I agreed to riemburse her for gas, and parking at Six Flags, and the 3 dollars. But that statement about making me walk was not a Christian thing to say.
These are two friends that I have made, and may loose their friendship. Well, I have to stand my ground. Period. If they dont understand, then who needs them anyway. I got God, my Kids, and my dog Moochie(Ruff Ruff.) Now dont get me wrong, I have a hard time being alone. It is hard. But I go to the Hospital, sit down and chat with people in the waiting room. I talk to my therapist, and my doctor. And I have people on Facebook what I have to post. It may be 3 or 4 people, but it doesnt matter. THEY COUNT TOO! Thank you for reading!
