Easter
today is a special day for me, i celebrate life, and rebirth. My saviour has been just that for many many years, even before I knew him, he was present in my life. He was the one I would talk with when I didn't have any one around. When i was 5 i was introduced to my saviour and have had a wonderful relationship since.
My life has not been a bed of roses, but with my saviour by my side, I am able to make it through the valleys of life, and celebrate the high points as well. He continues to provide for me in all areas of my life.
I hope that through my life, my children can see that a relationship with him is what is going to get you through everyday life.
today i want to tell my daughter what its like to have that covering, the covering of my saviour, and how putting him first in her life will put all things in order. It won't all be perfect and nice, we will still have problems to face in life, but the load will be lighter.
I love my children and want them to be successful in life, I hope I can lead by example and they will see the full life and blessings we have. The favor that we carry in everyday life.
My oldest is the one I worry about the most and it gets my younger ones mad because I tend to put them on the back burner, and she gets most of the attention. Lately I have been putting her on the back burner, and tending mostly to them. It is making her feel unloved and abandoned. (she is 19) I feel she needs to grow up. Take responsibility for herself. And learn how to take care of herself. She doesn't know how to fill out a job app, or any kind for that matter.
I keep telling her get her education, job, and start taking care of herself. Sometimes she doesn't hear me. Or she starts paying attention to her friends, and there dilemmas and says they need her help and puts herself on the back burner.
My son, I don't even know him that well, he tries to spend time with me, but I was raised not to be around the opposite sex, don't ask me how I end up with children and a man. It's all dysfunctional. I was taught the man raises the boys and the women raise the girls. I am raising both. he is angry at me because I don't sit down and talk to him. How do I get to know him, he's a boy.
Nezzy she is the active one, church, canoe journey, after school tutoring, and such. I can hardly keep up with her, but she is so full of life, I love it.
Marley, she is the one I worry about, her dad is an alcoholic, and physically and emotionally abusive, I don't want him seperated from her, she is good to her, but as a man, he has a lot of issues, he is in counseling and sometimes tries to quit drinking. He gets in a lot of trouble with the law, I hope he is around long enough to see her grow up.
Me I deal with all this by working and church, and DS, and my boyfriend, it all helps out one way or another. my oldest as much we fight and things she is a lot of help in all of this. I know she will be away for a while, but since she is getting help, I don't mind.
