Awe Man, after talking to a therapist today, she made me realize that I since I drive to and from work, with my migrane and dizziness and fatigue that I've been getting, I can get into an accident. It didn't dawn on me until she mentioned it. Now more paranoia. Nerves are starting to go. Gosh darn it.

I\'m trying to quit xanax. I\'ve been using it for sleep the last 3 wks and it help me relax but now I want to quit. I stopped using it Thurs and try to stretch it to Sat i but couldn\'t my nerves woke me up at 2am in the morning. Is this some side effect on quitting xanax? Please let me know. Anyone. :(
This is my 2nd night I did not get any sleep. I wish there was a fix for this. I hate to be neg. But I am tiring out. :(
I use xanax only as needed for panic during the day, but I usually always take one for helping me sleep because I have really bad night time anxiety. Is there a reason you\'re wanting to quit taking it? Everyone is different with meds, some people say xanax is addictive and getting off them is hell. I\'ve been lucky I guess that I don\'t have a problem with it. A months worth will usually last me 2-3 months. I\'ve never thought about it when I stopped taking them in the past, I had no side effects or withdrawls.
I think the key thing is if people are abusing them and don\'t really need to be on them then xanax has bad side effects. But for people that really need them, (and for me it\'s the only thing that\'s worked after trying EVERYTHING under the sun), it\'s no big deal.
How much were you taking and for what reason? Message me if you\'d like. I want to help but need a bigger picture to work with. :o)
when I got like that in the past I would take 1 tylenol pm.Cuase 2 would be to much.1 was just enough to take the edge off so I could get some rest.I can go 3 nights with a little sleep but not 4 in a row.I am cutting down on my cymbalta.xanax I use when needed only.I did not want anything 2 do with xanax at first. So the doc gave me kolonapin it had the opposit effect on me.
Its not just the drug its how you use it.
It only masked my symptoms, though it does help...
