Lonely

It has been a hard day. I went through your closet honey and removed all your shirts and pants.  I will take them to the Goodwill.  Your suits and jackets are still hanging.  I had to stop it was so hard folding your beautiful shirts and putting them in a box, the loneliness is overwhelming these past few days.
I haven't been able to open your dresser drawers yet.  That is going to be even harder because I know you always stuck little mementos, cards, things you wanted to keep forever in them.
I am managing better than I was for several months, the loneliness now is the hardest.  I miss being with you so much.  I miss our talks, I miss doing our projects together, I just plain miss your presence!  You were so very, very supportive and pleasant to be with.  Your smile, your willingness to help me with any thing I was doing, your appreciation for life, the happiness you got from the littlest thing.  Your thorough enjoyment when planting your garden and watching it grow.  Soooo many things I miss.
I will be OK, never the same, but OK.  I am going to visit Mark and the family in Boise soon, then a week or so after I return I will be going to the Juice Plus+ conference.  Trish is going with me this time!  It is in Long Beach so we will drive and stay at Trish's daughter one night coming and going.
My love for you has grown even more.  Yours always,  Linda
