I thought I would miss my lab test yesterday.  My ride was late for an hour.  The wait was very short tho so I finished early and was able to pick up my medication after.  Kim texted if I wanted to get yogurt.  Said OK, I'll meet her there.  We walked around for window shopping, picked up a wristband for nausea and then headed home shortly after.  The wristband is effective so far and I don't have to take the medication for nausea. 
Let me tell you about my other friend Karine - I love Karine to death but her driving is going to kill me either from heart attack or a vehicular accident.  As soon as I get in the car, I grab her cell phone and an argument will follow between us.  Using the cellphone while driving is another bad habit of her.  I don't know how many tickets she got this far but I know for sure, she almost failed to renew her driving license this last time.  She would behave for a while after getting a traffic ticket but would always go back to her old ways.  I appreciate her giving me a ride to work in the morning because she did not want me to walk to work.  The walk was kind of uphill but not that bad.  She's really concerned after I had the surgery.  Except for the bad driving, like the rest of the girfriends, she is thoughtful, loving, funny and a sister/mother you would want to have.  Her entire family has become my friends/family too.
