It was my ED birthday yesterday; she just turned 30 and we've been estranged about 5 years.  I hope she is OK with money and her lovelife.  It's partly because of her boyfriend that the problem somehow started.  The boyfriend is welcome anytime at home but I do not want them hanging out in her bedroom.  We would even cook something special if we know the boyfriend is coming.  She told us that she wanted to move out and live with a roommate not saying the roommate was the boyfriend.  My husband approved her leaving; I did not.  My husband would visit her often in their apartment but one day, my daughter told her father to stop coming, they argued and she raised her voice in front of the boyfriend.  My husband was so frustrated and kept his distance like she wanted although he would send her e-mail.  When my husband passed away, she/they did not even come to pay respect.  To this day, I haven't heard from her/them and honestly with my health issues I give up.  I'd rather save my strength and time on myself.
