The pain is unberable at times, can't sleep everytime I am in that situation. I try to eat even tho I don't have the appetite. I need to gain my strength back at least for my wonderful and loving friends. They've done and gone through some length to help me. I'm beyond words; thank you is not enough.

Keep eating - even if u have to force yourself. (Iron rich foods to for energy, maybe Vitamin B12)... erst/take it easy...breathe..... God Bless!
Sending prayers for a speedy recovery...my thoughts are with you
Yes, eat protein.....chicken and drink oj. I took my meds as prescribed and they helped me sleep as well as manage the pain. It will take time to regain energy and strength. My plan was to be down for two weeks and then be up and around.....I was so wrong. Take advantage of this time to rest. So glad to hear from you!
janrenee is right, take the meds as prescribed and do try to eat. It is really understandable after surgery between the lack of sleep, the lack of mobility and the pain, it kind of kills your appetite so if you think it might taste good go for it.
As for sleeping trying propping yourself up to a semi upright position or if you have a lazy boy try sleeping there.
It does get better each day. If you doctor did not prescribe and muscle relaxers see if he will that can help as well because everything else gets tight due to the surgery and it trys to compensate for it.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Hang in there!!! Remember, each day is closer to feeling better and recovering... Sending prayers your way!!
