Was in bed crying much of the the weekend. I know it's not very productive but I was really feeling down because of the death of my friend Ben. He was caring, a good listener and funny person. He was suffering way before my husband was diagnosed with cancer and eventually passed away. It’s good my friend Kim called; we drove to Ross, and then she took me out for a walk and some fresh air. Thank you God for sharing Kim with me.
Tomorrow is my last day at work. I will be on break till Aug. 26. Aside from packing my stuff, I have tons of projects in mind – quilt, crochet (finished a set of doily last Sunday), appliqué, a set of pants and a sweater – a knit project I just learned very recently from Kathy. Not sure though which one to carry on with. Kathy said she would transform her daughter’s room into a craft room. Hope she finishes it soon so we can start our get-together. Crafting and sewing were my picker-uppers every time I am down. Our garage was my sewing room when we still have the house and the dogs would lay around me unmindful if they’re in the way of the fabric or thread.  Some happy days for me.
