Hi all,

I have wonderful news to pass on to you.  I passed my interview for a job in my field with Cathlotic Charities as a "Resident Manager."  I hope to start this Thursday, but will let you know the minute I know anything.  The person was very pleased and told me not to get another job between now and then, which is AWESOME.

Here is a summary of my job description:

1.  First 4 hours I clean from 11-3 a.m.

2.  Next 3 hours from 3-6 I can do homework, get on the computer, etc.

3.  From 6-7:30 prepare Breakfast for the Residents

This job would pay $10/hour, which is exactly what I need to make ends meet, but its in my field.  Praise the Lord!!!

Here is some more good news for you.  I was recently accepted for an internship with Episcopal Social Services, and I hope to start that up soon.  I went there and they loved me, and they asked me how soon I could start, and I told them as soon as the first of the year.  I told them that I needed 800 hours for the program, which would take about 1-2 years to complete.  The cool thing is that its not too far down the road from my soon to be new job.  Isn't that great!!!  God is definitely looking out for me, and providing something better daily.  He is so good!!!

Earlier today I was depressed.  I did feel like cutting myself, and I have felt that way ever since the rape.  The Lord stops me before I even think about doing such a thing by changing my negative thoughts to positive, and reassuring me of Heaven.  I also took my vitamins, and that helped me as well because my anxiety was ridiculously high, but after an hour it was lowered, so I did feel better about myself.  I am still awaiting Prozac, and I may consider taking Seroquel as well due to the recent diagnosis.

Next week I will be in Manhattan for a one day seminar entitled, "The Sky's the Limit," and I will stay with my professor and his wife.  I am very excited!!!  I need to get away because work is too stressful.

Speaking of work, I am going to rearrange my schedule for this week, and the person who gave me the hours is going to be upset, but I need to look out for myself.  I am concerned for the patient I work with due to her safety at the house (home care), and the excess neglect amongst the house staff that takes place amongst the other patients as well as my own.  I will let you know how it goes.  Please be in prayer.  I could get a write up, but I don't care.  I have to look out for myself, but I refuse to sign it and hand it in because of an injustice that would take place, if you get my drift.  My work writes up anyone who cancels regardless, and usually its wrong, and this would be a second time, and I do not need that.  Do you understand?  Please be in prayer.

Have a wonderful week, and I will keep you updated.  smiley-cool.gif
