I talked to a detective yesterday about my case, and didn't recieve good news. He has had a lot of experience with rape cases, and told me not to get my hopes up. Here are some of the things he mentioned. One, most UA's come back negative, very rarely do they end up in court. Two, PFS's are pointless because 90% of the time they are not taken to court. Its not going to matter what I do because the chances of it going to court are extremely slim. I did what I could, and now God is going to need to take care of the rest. I am going to have to surrender it to Him daily because when Judgement day comes, my neighbor will have to give an account for his actions on why he raped me, along with anything else he may have done before or after this trauma. I don't feel bad for doing what I did, but long for justice to be done. I am starting to think that there is no such thing as justice in this world until Christ returns. I will be working on an exegetical paper for the next few weeks clear up until May 2008 for one of my classes next semester with MCC, and will try and keep you updated on what insights I learn from Scripture in regards to social justice.I have both of my classes done for Manhattan Christian College for this semester, and am very excited about next. I am trying to get my paper, final, and course evaluation done for graduate school. I hope to get it done today. I think in the next year or so I am going to pursue a second Masters degree, but it will be in New Testament with Johnson Bible College. I believe I can get into the program with no problems at all, but need to do it according to His timing. I was accepted yesterday into the Rapid Response Team as a Chaplain. I am very excited!!!!!! They do offer training, but it is not required, so I will probably attend some as soon as my finances become more stable (they already are FINALLY). The training will not only enhance me as an individual, but help bring others to Christ when a disaster strikes. God is so good!!!!
