I had counseling yesterday and I learned a lot. My therapist and I worked on my negative thinking to change to postiive thinking. She is a blessing! She gave me insight that I can use for my future practice.

1. Write down your unrealistic faulty thinking and then write out a belief statement that is realistic and in line with the truth.

2. Once you have identified the faulty thinking and realistic thinking write both statements on an index card- one side write the lie and on the other side write the truth.

I think these are cool ideas and very helpful. I tried a variety of ways, and this is superb.
