Good Morning,
Well, I had a follow up ultrasound this week to check the cyst on my pancreas. I see the doctor next week so I'll find out the results then. I am a little nervous about it but pretty sure it is about the same (at least that's my gut feeling...no pun intended). I still have a fair amount of digestion/intestinal issues. From slightly uncomfortable to moderate pain on and off. It gets rather old.
I have been on an elimination diet since July (meaning I eliminated certain foods that I tested positive to in an immuno blood print) and I am finally at the point of introducing foods back into my diet. I started with turkey (hoping to be able to have it at Thanksgiving) but that was a bit of a disaster as I got pretty sick about halfway into the test and had to stop...so no Turkey for me this Thanksgiving. Next I tried a wheat product (I tested negative for CD but feel that I am somewhat gluten intolerant) and that went pretty well. The last thing I tried was eggs and that was not so good. It's a slow and somewhat uncomfortable process but it will be nice to know what things I have to absolutely stay away from and what things I might be able to have occasionally.
I am very glad it's Friday and I'm looking forward to the weekend!

Sorry about the turkey but can you have some other kind of Fowl? Maybe a beautifully roasted game hen or chicken....It would at least be similar. I understand about the ellimination diet and trying to figure out stuff for the upcoming holidays. I would be happy to help with suggestions...if you need any! Have a good weekend! Lollie
