12W Dr. Appt.
Hi All,
Im almost out of the 1st Trimester! yay! lol... But Heres whats been going on.
Babies are ok. Dr. says they look "perfect". Heartbeats are on point (he never tells me what they are exactly, Good, because If so I will research it to make sure they are fine! lol) and they are measuring right.
Ive been having appointments about every two week or so. Everything was fine with me until my glucose came back 4pts over the normal. :( So I had to go to take a 3hr glucose test. (the worst thing ever!! gosh took so long and so much blood work). However, it came back a lil high still, so not I am borderline diabetic with this pregnancy and have to go to diabetic class/teaching on the 7/11. That sucks. But I can deal with it. Then on this appt. my blood pressure came up high 140/90 .. what the... Everytime I usually go to the dr. its usually 116/70 (something like that). and my 116 has been consistent until this last appointment. :( UGH! .. but Dr. says that he doesnt think I have high blood pressure and this could have been a result of not resting properly (which i don't cause Im so uncomfortable) and other things etc. But he will just watch me. ( I think me having twins is sort of scaring this Dr. or something because he is so cautious about everything and he tends to tell me about the complications with twins almost everytime I go...)
I told him that I spot a lil after intercourse sometimes, and this just started when i hit like 9weeks, its not everytime, but it is sometimes. and he told me NO MORE intercourse !! WTH! lol... He didnt say find a different position, that is normal etc. My RE office, use to always tell me that its very common. And to watch it. WOW.. I like this Dr. but he is just different from the doctors & nurses in the RE office. lol...
At the last appointment (yesterday 12W4d), When I saw the babies it was like baby A was waving at me lol.. Soooo cute.. "B" was moving all around too. Why do I think these are the cutest babies ever!! lol...Yes those big head ultrasound pics are sooo beautiful... its crazy..lol hahaha.... They are just so adorable to me. Just watching them on the screen bring soo much joy to my heart!!! I love to sooo much already, and I cant explain it! I cant wait to see them again. (I go back on the 18th).... But, other than the Blood Glucose & Blood Pressure spike, everything has been fine. Just happy that everything is fine with the babies.... I can deal with all the other stuff about me. My what attractive babies you have there!!! If you ever need a different OB practice in Chicago, I absolutely adore mine (minus one of the docs) but the rest are all women and are fabulous, delivering at Prentice. Glad you are doing well and give the babies a big hug!!
Thanks Girl.. Imma stick with this Dr. for now( i absolutely HATE changing drs) .. cause I DO like him BUT i think hes uncomfortable with my twins.. lol. hehehe and his office & hospital is like 2 mins from my house. He just got to relax i think. lol.. but thank you. I will definitely give them a big hug lol...
Glad you and the twins are doing just fine... What a blessing, God is Awsome.. Take it easy and try to rest and relax as much as you can...

Glad the twins are doing so well and lets just hope that the spike was a one off and it will resolve itself with a little more rest perhaps oh and no baby dancing!! Booo ;)
