happy new year

its a wonderful start to a new year, I am healthy enough to shovel my yard. every single day. lol. I have the energy to work an 8 hour shift, come home, make supper, clean up, and still shovel and do laundry before bed. lol.just over a year ago, when i was still drinking, I did not have this much energy. I am very thankful for sobriety. Its fun working at Macdonalds, I have made so many new friends, some are young, some are my age. lol. I have friends in a.a. that i really would have missed if I had never met them. and my friends in here are most important, cause they are here when I struggle, they helped me get sober, and their faithful writing helps keep me happy joyous and free. there were lots of hungover people coming in for their greasy burger fix yesterday.I was surprised at how many co workers were not hungover, in fact...none of them were. it appears they prefer their work to partying. I wish i had been that smart at that age. Each day is a new start, and sometimes I have had to restart a bad day. and make it good. but its worth the effort. Each day is a blessing, and I am not going to miss out on any of them. I start with my Daily Reflection, and that puts a smile on my face, and happiness in my heart. Many blessings to everyone today, may you find happiness, peace, and joy. always hold on to Hope.xoxo
