Today the sun is shining, yesterday when I got off work at 4, the sky was black. We were getting one of the biggest thunder and lightening storms I have ever seen here.it takes me 6 minutes to drive home from work, and when i got here, there was a small lake growing behind my parking space. wow!My son said the storm was already in its second hour, and we got another 3 hours of it. thunder soudned like it was ripping the sky apart, it was so lovely.Later, the sun tried to shine, just about the time it was going to set. lolthen the fireworks started. There is a huge get together at a park on Canada Day and you can see the fire works from all over the city. I did work fries yesterday, and I dont ever want to see another greasy salty fry as long as I live. ewwww. I was covered in a film of grease and salt by the time I left work. and I stunk like grease. ack. Day off today, then tommorrow I work lobby, and then friday and saturday off. This saturday I will recieve my 8 month chip at the meeting...yay!!!! lolmany people have gone out again. so sad. When I lay in the sun in the back yard, the memories of beer and stuff all come back to me. its like that the first year though, so I just say a little prayer, and chug a big glass of something cold and frosty, and the thought is gone. omg my birthday is coming up too, now what kind of cake shall I make? hmmmm....probably angel food, thats my fave. or white cake, mmmmmmmmmmmm.....now i want cake. I had my first sober christmas, and new years in years, and mothers day, etc etc. so my first sober birthday is going to be fun too. i will probably be working. ha ha.I have to go down town today to renew my drivers license, so I had best hit the shower and try to get all pretty. ack. new pic. and all.I hope everyone has a beautiful day.xo
