Update

I had my ultrasound. Got good news and what I think is bad news, everyone else thinks its great news. The good news is everything is great my baby is on track actually 1 day ahead, and has a little heartbeat and was even moving around in there. My husband said it looked like it waved at him. I dont know if thats possible this early but it moved and he said did it just move and the doctor said yep. Well the bad news my specialist said this is the last time he'll see me. My next appointment wont be with him because he only sees you till your 9-10 weeks then you go to another doctor. This is the first time in 2 1/2 years that I wont be seeing him. I've never made it this far before and I'm just really scared. I'm not scared about the baby I'm scared about how the other doctor will handle things. Will I still get extra ultrasounds, Probably not, are they going to be nice, will they watch me extra close because of my past history. I'm just a nervous wreck. I wish he, my RE, could see me my whole pregnancy but I know he cant thats not his job. He did set me up a consultation at the high risk clinic. He said they will go through my paper work and evaulate me and see if its necessary I be seen there or if I should just go to a regular OB/GYN......Im praying that they will see me at the high risk clinic that way maybe they will keep a closer eye on me. Everyone else says thats great news that my doctor thinks things are so good I can be moved to another doctor. But geeees its just so scary. He could have warned me I thought I would be seeing him till I was 12 weeks.  I've been REALLY REALLY sick today. I have a cold on top of the morning sickness. I've been up since 3:00 AM puking just around every 1/2 hour. Its the worst. I asked him if there was anything else I could take beside phenegren he said to add a 1/2 of a unisom and a B6 supplement. So we'll see if that works. I've read about it and some women say its works great. I just hope somethings gives me so relief soon.  By the way I'm at work also. Puking every 20 mins or so sucks. I didnt have any vacation time so I came in. I do have 4 hours vacation left so my boss said I could go at 12:30 if I wanted. She said I could leave now but I want to wait that way I'll have enough vacation time to cover the hours I miss. Well I better go. Its about time for another bathroom "puke" break. Hugs Monica.

Wonderful news!!!! I am so happy your little bean is doing well. I know it is scary going to a new doctor. I think that u should talk with the dr.\'s office and tell them what u have been through and that u really are going to need assurance throughout this pregnancy that everything is ok. My ob was wonderful. They gave me extra ultrasounds anytime I thought something wasn\'t right. A good dr. Will work with u and understand. Check your phonebook as well. We have a high risk ob office around us. I was thinking next time I might go through them.
Also I rented a heart doppler from www.babybeat.com so anytime I needed reassurace that the baby was ok, I would just check his heartbeat real quick. I wouldnt have made it without it. I would have been at the dr.\'s office having the baby checked out every other day. lol

I know it must suck about the dr not being able to see you again but think positive because it means your pregnancy is progressing well. You may grow to love this new dr even more. I new environment is always nice as well. It will be o.k for you. You need to relax and take it easy for your little bean. I am praying this new dr will be awesome.

I know what you mean about not seeing your specialist anymore. When I was pregnant before, leaving her was so difficult. This time it will be so much more difficult.

I can undersatnd your fears. At least a high risk specialist should be more in tune with the emotions that go along with thier clients. I am so sorry to hear how sick you have been. Just keep telling yourslef it will be worth it in the end..hopefully it will let up after the first trimester! WIth DS mine ended at 14 weeks

so glad to hear your appointment went well, being nervous about the new doctor is understandable but hopefully they will treat you just as well if not better.

Great news about the baby. I\'m so glad that everything is going well. I know it\'s hard, but it\'s standard with those RE\'s. I\'m sure that most dr\'s are used to women being apprehensive once they switch from an RE. Especially when they get the history. Take care of yourself, and thanks for all the prayers. I\'m doing ok, just have to deal with this one day at a time.
