~~     A 3 YEAR NUTSHELL  ~~
I'm first going back 3 or so years ago.Feb. 2009, We had just moved out of our home and into a rental, lots of stress         I had a very bad bout of Vertigo along with an upper respitory infection,I have had vertigo a few times in the past prior 2          years.ER told me I had a bad sinus infection, upper respitory infection, and treated me for vetigo with antivert and antibiotics.         Thats when I started feeling depressed, shortly after anxiety, and the pain in my legs went and seen my GP he put me on Lexapro.         shortly after that I took a part time jod delevering for a small sub shop for xtra cash,it was only a few hours a day so it worked well         i noticed a new pain just above my right ankle about 3 in. came out of nowhere and was there for a few months felt like i had been hit          hit with a bat.It also felt like it wrapped around my leg...I had been expirencing blurred vision and ringing in my ears along         with tention across the base of my scull in the back and down into my back, very senitive to light.Seemed like if I would turn          my neck it would pull something out of place.I had also been having migraines they would let up for a day or so to go back into yet          another migraine, they started lasting longer and longer,10 ,13,16,18 22 days long,in the meantime I went and had my eyes checked          this waas in Nov 2009 vision was 20/25 so I got a pair of glasses.they didnt seem to work well. When I would go to start reading          the words ran toghter after just reading a few of them, that got frustrating so I finally put down the reading untill I could get          back to the eye doc. Fastforward  April 6 2010 after a 27 day headache my body at this point was also in cronic pain and I was         tired of no answers I went back to the ER.They admitted me and was there for 6 days 3 of them I don't really remember... Doctors ran          alot of Bloodwork and tons of scans, told my husband that they thought I had a tumor on my pituitary gland,They then called in a Neuro         Opthamologist thats when they came back in and said no we are sorry its not a tumor not like that anyways its BHI or a Pseudotumor         Proir to this back in Aug. because i didnt give all the details a rheumy at the hospital told me I had fibro.,, as if the migraines         hadnt been enough,on top of the Fibro, and now IH ! So I've had my ups and downs ! & will Add to this later....

I was dx\'d with sarcoid in jan 2010. Since then I have had numerous symptoms and lots of pain and depression. Now I have been dx\'d with Protein C Deficiency as well as fibromyalgia. I have had little to know relief from the depression or the pain UNTIL...my rheumy got me on Cymbalta & warm water therapy. I lost my job in Feb 2011 cause couldn\'t concentrate/think straight anymore. The Cymbalta was hard to get used to (vertigo, dizziness, difficulty reading etc) but I kept uping & lowering my dose until I could tolerate the 60mgs. Now my pain level has diminished (I still have occasional bad days (maybe 1 per week, sometimes more) but I am more functioning now than I have been in 1.5 years. I still couldn\'t do my old job right now (nor do I think I will ever be able to again) but I am higher functioning & less pain. I hope some of this info can help you. I wish you luck and patience in your efforts to get your issues manageable. Keep your chin up (i know it\'s hard but it can be done & it can get easier) and good luck!

Thanks Maria,
I was on Lyrica 150 daily prior to my IH DX for almost a year, had to go off because of a problem with insurance.I would like to go back on it it did cut way back of some of my SX and i did feel better. On one of my hospital visits the Ace holes threw me on 300 mgs a day and I had a bad reaction to it after telling them I could not take that much they gave it to me anyways,I did\'nt know however no matter what I now know to pay more attention when I\'m in there. So I waiting to talk to my Doc. about going back on it . I did try Cymbalta and had a bad reaction to it so I stopped taking it ..My Pain is a big problem just alot I have to sort through .. Thank you so much for responding.... xxxx Angie
