Where to start?
life is moving so fast it's hard to catch up and sometimes it seems so slow...
june 9th was the one yr ani of Liam's due date.  hard day. i will always wish things were different and i was able to hold him in my arms again!
so joel's dad and a friend of my mother's were here earlier.  Joel's dad mentioned that Finn is going to be spoiled because he is an only Grandchild and actually an only Great-Grandchild on his side of the family.  I started stuttering something.  When my Mom's friend said, actually he is the only grandchild on BOTH sides of the family.  And I said, practically whispered through my tears, Finn is NOT the only Grandchild.  they both looked at me in surprise.  Liam.  Joel's Dad said well he is the only Grandchild I can play with, with a big smile.  I guess he was trying to make me feel better...it felt condisending...they forgot my precious Liam.  Mom's friend did say she was sorry she forgot Liam.  It just broke my heart.
So we are back in the hospital.  We have learned so much and yet there are so many unanswered questions.  Finn has a bicuspid aortic valve, which is something they will just keep their eyes on for now, but it explains his heart murmur that he has always had.  He has a genetic mutation, which unbeknownst to me I am a carrier for, which causes his congenital hyperinsulinism.
