We're HOME!!!!
Thursday we got to bring our little man home! Everything's been so crazy and hectic. He has recovered very well from surgery, most of his liver has regenerated already!!! We have learned he also has congenital hyperinsulinism...which means me makes too much insulin which makes his blood sugars drop. He's been on a med that really seems to be helping! It's helping so much I've seen him more alert and interactive...also he is finally hungrey! It's been a real struggle getting him to eat enough. We have LOTS of Dr's apts coming up, but we figured we would. The main thing is he's here, he's laying beside me.
Joel and I have worked out a system, because Finn HAS to eat every 3 hours to maintain healthy blood sugars Joel and Finn have Daddy and Son nights while I sleep and I wake up around midnight and watch Finn the rest of the time. I can still hardly believe he's here!
Its sad when the medical bills beat you home.
I wish wish wish Liam were here to be able to celibrate. Everything seems a little pailer without him.

You bring happy tears to my eyes!! I have thought of you and Finn often and wondered how he was doing - I\'m SO glad he\'s there, he\'s home, and most importantly, he\'s alive. =) You\'ve done well - Congratulations, Mommy!
I\'m so happy to hear everything is going well with you guys! I think about you a lot too. I\'m so glad Finn recovered well and is doing great! I can imagine it\'s a bit bittersweet without Liam there with you as well. I think that will hit me very hard when the time comes. Hugs!

YAY! YAY! YAY! I am so happy for all of you. Please know Liam is there too even if you can\'t see him. He is with you all the time and watching over all of you. I have to believe this, it\'s the only way I get through my days. Finn is adorable and I wish I could come hug and cuddle with him in person. Congrats!! Hugs, Stacy
Daddy is very kind!!! Finn is a very Blessed little boy. I remember those feedings from when Symone was ill as an infant. Unfortunately, my exhusband was not as kind with the feedings and I was ALWAYS exhausted.
