i have a daily devotional i read called"beyond the looking glass" for overcoming eating disorders. it is exactly how i feel.my eating disorder didn't happen over night and can't be fixed that way. but i am impatient.what is wrong with me? why can't i ask for help. my family, friends, doctor and counslors want to help but i can't talk with them and be totally honest. i don't want them mad at me and i feel stupid if i make mistakes. some pretty scary stuff has happened to me in life.this eating disorder sure feels like it is going to be the end of me.there is no refuge. i can't find the strength to go on and food certainly does not help. money is hard to count on, and the perfect body i want seems out of reach. i am in big trouble. anyone out there feel the same way so i am not alone.

I cant say that I full understand. But i know what is like not to like what you look like to youself. When you said about changing over night not being really you are right. We both have to realize that if we take it one day at a time and then learn to let ppl know when we have done something wrong then we will get the help that we need. Lots of love Amanda-Kristen
