I finally have an appointment with Dr. Kaufman at the MS Clinic at Carolinas Medical Center.  After years of not getting a straight answer from my previous Neurologist, I obtained the Radiologist reports on my last three MRI's.  Shocking is all I can say.  I was led to believe that I had some damage from lesions but not to the level that I see on the reports.   "Innumerable", "lesions in numbers to great to be counted", "extensive white matter lesioning indicative of very advanced MS".  These were all the discriptions on the reports, never was I told the level of damage that my brain had suffered. With hope Dr. Kaufman will be able to offer me some aid. I think that I should go to a different treatment, Betaseron seems to not be working.  Tysabri seems to be a good choice.  I will let you know what we decide after tomorrow. Peace...............................David
