Had my neurologist visit yesterday and he read me the results of my last MRI. Major disease activity going on in my right frontal lobe and my left parietal lobe. My cognitive function is so poor now. Sorry I haven't written more lately and been more active here but I find it very difficult. My days fly by now and I may only get one or two things done. I feel very isolated and lonely. Lost and confused is how I constantly feel. The doctor wants to switch me off of Betaseron and put me on either Copaxone or Tysabri. Not sure which to do. Big HUGS to all of my friends! Take care!

Hey Dave, Sorry to hear that your mri results weren\'t very good. I guess you expected it from the way you were feeling. I can relate to how you feel. I feel that way a lot of the time too. I have friends that are on tysabri if you need someone to talk to about it. I also have some on copaxone. Honestly though, if your ms is progressing, it sounds like tysabri would be the choice. I would ask your neuro what he thinks and do your research. I hope you have a good weekend:) hugs, Holly
Oh Dave, I am so sorry to hear of all your Neuros news. You have got to pick yourself up now...got to get in the fight of your life, stay positive and yes try new meds. I hear the Tysabri is doing wonders for many. I am here for you at any time...Please hang in there. Even getting one or two things done is major right now. I just had my chemo Novantrone for the MS Friday, and am sick as a dog...But we can do it. Love you,
Welcome to the club, I just had a neuro appt and was told I have activity too. Avonex has dropped the ball. I had to choose between Rebif and Tysabri.......I chose Tysabri......... Hell, why not?
