Still in pain, right eye blindness, bowel trouble, numbness, weakness and tingling in my extremities. I have an appointment with a neuro-opthalmologist in the AM, lab work after that. MRI next Tues, looking at brain, c-spine and orbits. Neuro doc wants me in for IVIG as soon as the lab work checks out. I am now on Lyrica for nerve pain. Percocet if things get real bad. He also wants to switch me off of Betaseron and get me on Tysabri. So, how is everyone else? Good I hope!

Hi Dave, I hope that switching to Tysabri helps. I have a couple other friends that are on it. I hope the steroids help you to get thru this relapse and get your eyes back to normal. Hang in there! I know this must be really tough on you right now. Hugs, Holly
Dave...my last flare lasted 4 months, then I switched to Tysabri and have not had a single flare in the last year. Tysabri has done wonderful things for me, give it a try...it may do the same for you. Hoping things start going better.
Dave, I will be praying for you, after the roids you should feel better. I have recently heard of many coming off Betaseron and getting on Copazone or Tysabri... I also hear the Tysabri is a wonder therapy and many are getting excellent results...Good Luck and Feel better Quick...LOL
O DAVE! I AM SO SORRY TO READ WHAT\'S GOING ON WITH U! IT\'S NOT FAIR AND I\'LL KEEP U IN MY PRAYERS. I KNOW IT\'S HARD BUT TRY TO KEEP POSITIVE THOTS LIKE \"I CAN SEE, I AM PAIN-FREE\". I KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO BE POSITIVE BUT POSITIVES WILL COME BACK TO U. IT WORKS 4 ME.
